Welcome to The Old Stables! 

Converted in July 2005 from a two-storey stable block, this large one-bedroom cottage is tastefully decorated with coordinated furnishings, and offers spacious and luxurious holiday accommodation for two in the beautiful North Devon countryside. The Old Stables is quality assessed annually by Visit Britain Quality in Tourism and has received a 4-star rating so you can be assured of the level of comfort and facilities.  

The Old Stables sits detached from the main house and has its own private garden and off-road parking. It has full central heating and all heating and power costs are included in the rental.

On arrival you enter the cottage from the drive/parking area, passing through the small lobby with WC/cloakroom on the right, into the kitchen. 

The kitchen is well equipped, with fitted oak units, microwave,  washer-dryer, electric hob/oven and all usual equipment.

 A door leads out to the private and sunny garden, with patio, table and seating for two.

Off the kitchen is the large, comfortable and sunny sitting room with dining area,  equipped with flat-screen TV/DVD player with "Freeview" channels and CD/radio. There is also a small library of books and films for your enjoyment. There is access to the patio from this room too.

Winding stairs take you to the first floor and the double bedroom, with exposed beams and king-size bed. Please note that there is one low beam in the bedroom. Bed linen is included in the rental.

Across the landing is the luxury bathroom, with coordinated suite comprising basin, bath and power-shower, wc and bidet. Cottage towels are included but please remember to bring your own beach towels.
